Background Information
After dental school oral and maxillofacial surgeons (OMFS) study for eight additional years in hospital settings, training in advanced surgical techniques to provide maximum patient comfort with atraumatic and minimally invasive surgeries and patient anesthesia. Dr. Moy and Dr. Kahenasa as OMFS and as the implant restoration specialist, manage the largest spectrum of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions on the Westside. West Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center practices the full scope restorative and surgical dentistry. Our Doctors expertise range from dental implant (surgical and restorative), bone grafting, restorative dentistry, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery and diagnosing and treating facial pain, injuries, and fractures.
All of our patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Our staff is trained in ACLS and BCLS and assisting surgical procedures when administering Intravenous (IV) sedation, Nitrous Sedation and local anesthesia in our highly developed and innovative facility.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at West Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have trained registered dental assistants (RDA) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
